The electric tailgate employs a spring system to bear the weight of the trunk door.Upon opening the tailgate,the spring system is compressed,accumulating energy in the spring.Upon releasing the tailgate,the spring releases this energy,propelling the door to its fully open state.The system is engineered to ensure a gentle and steady motion for opening and closing,preventing the tailgate from abruptly closing or dropping without warning.

• Motorized Operation

The strut features an electric motor that facilitates the operation of opening and closing the tailgate.This motor is governed by a control switch,typically incorporated into the cars keyless entry device,control panel,or the tailgate itself.Upon activation of the switch,the motor activates,either extending or retracting the strut to initiate the opening or closing of the tailgate.This feature eliminates manual effort,offering ease of use particularly when hands are occupied or during adverse weather conditions.
