Working Principle

The power output by the engine is transmitted through the clutch and the gearbox to the main reducer of the drive axle. The main reducer reduces the speed and increases the torque of the power and then transmits it to the differential. At this time, the half shaft acts as the "power bridge" between the differential and the driving wheel. Its inner side is meshed with the half shaft gears of the differential through a spline, and the outer side is rigidly connected to the wheel hub through a flange or a spline. When the differential is running, the half shaft gears drive the half shaft to rotate synchronously, and the torque is directly transmitted to the hub, ultimately driving the wheels to rotate. During this process, the half shaft needs to bear all the torque output by the engine. Its high-strength material and forging process ensure the efficiency and reliability of power transmission.
