Description of Air Shock Absorbers

Air shock absorbers are overload absorbers that increase the load-bearing capacity of the suspension by inflating it with air. Air springs are inflatable rubber or elastic air bags that, when pressurized, support the vehicle's suspension. Some models use air springs instead of traditional coil springs. Aftermarket air springs can be installed inside coil springs or between the axle and the frame to provide additional lifting support for overloaded vehicles or when towing trailers.

Main Functions and Advantages

Air suspension can automatically or manually adjust the vehicle's level based on the vehicle's load, maintaining balance and posture, and improving its load-carrying capacity and braking performance. For example, as the vehicle's load increases, the air suspension increases the airbag pressure, raising the vehicle's body to prevent it from sinking, maintaining wheel contact, and improving braking effectiveness. As the vehicle's load decreases, the air suspension reduces the airbag pressure, lowering the vehicle to prevent it from floating, maintaining stability, and improving handling.​
