Successful test of Bottom Feed Vibroflot application in Timor-Leste

Timor-Leste Diba Bay New Container Terminal Project, one of the biggest vibroflotation construction done by bottom feed vibro technique, was put on the full bow and will be launched recently. Bottom feed vibroflot once again played a core role in this stage. The good news of the success came from May 4, 2019.

BVEM,the manufacturer of this leading role, organized the majority the original team members who participated in the vibroflotation construction of Artificial Island of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, where the maximum depth of stone column achieved to 24 meters.

East Timor, a maritime country in southern Asia, is located adjacent to the equator. Despite the hot and humid climate, our team was not affected by the tough environment. The preparation and construction organization of the pile test process are in good order.

During the whole process including installation,commissioning and the schemes making of lifting, boring and pile driving, each step strives for excellence which definitely make sure the final success of the completed test job.

From April 14 to May 4, the 20-days piling test got a win result. The maximum depth of the pile is 24.8 meters. Our bottom feed vibroflot successfully penetrated the very hard soil layer with the SPT value of 50 blows and accomplished stone column making with bottom feed method. The total construction liner length is 306 meters using the total time of 1222 minutes.
