BVEM assisted CCCC First Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. to design and participate in the construction. The East breakwater in Caofeidian port area was reconstructed and the foundation was reinforced with discharge gravel piles at the bottom of the sea. The pile diameter was 1m and the maximum depth was 17m.
What is Bottom Feed Vibroflotation
As a extension of vibroflotation technique, bottom feed method created a larger range of vibroflotation application. In terms of its feature, vibroflotation can be conducted to treat the foundation in those projects even under following situation:
