Performance Characteristics:
- Corrosion resistance: Due to its low molybdenum and carbon content, it has strong resistance to chloride corrosion and has good corrosion resistance in seawater, chlorine containing media, pulp and paper production, surpassing 304 stainless steel.
- Heat resistance: It has good oxidation resistance when used intermittently below 1600 degrees and continuously below 1700 degrees, and its resistance to carbide precipitation is better than 316 stainless steel.
- Mechanical properties: Excellent strength and ductility, with a lower limit of tensile strength of 485MPa and a lower limit of yield strength of 170MPa. It has a wide range of hardness and can meet various processing and usage requirements.
- Processing performance: Easy to cold and hot process, capable of processing into complex shape structures, excellent welding performance, and can use various welding methods.
