Core Features
- OE Standard Compatibility: 100% match for FAW J6, J6P, and JH6 series trucks. Direct replacement for original parts.
- High Precision Monitoring: Provides accurate real-time data to the dashboard, preventing "low pressure" false alarms or missed warnings.
- Durable Construction: Built to withstand the harsh vibration and high-pressure environment of heavy-duty trucking.
- Plug-and-Play: Features a standard 2/3-pin sealed connector for waterproof and dustproof electrical connectivity.
Application & System
- Vehicle Brand: FAW
- System Category: Brake System / Chassis Electricals
- Mounting Location: Air storage tanks (reservoirs), four-circuit protection valves, or air dryer outlets.
Maintenance & Precautions
- Check the Connector: Regularly inspect the electrical plug for signs of corrosion, moisture, or loose
- Monitor Dashboard Accuracy: Compare the dashboard air pressure reading with the mechanical gauge (if available).
- Leak Inspection: During routine chassis maintenance, spray soapy water around the M16*1.5 thread base to check for air leaks.
Installation Method
1.Depressurization Preparation
Safety First: You *must* first discharge all compressed air from the air tank (by applying the brakes or pulling the bleed valve) to ensure the pressure gauge reads 0. Disassembly under pressure is strictly prohibited to prevent personal injury.
2.Removal of Old Part
Disconnect the electrical connector located at the top of the sensor, then use a wrench to unscrew the old sensor in a counter-clockwise direction.
3. Interface Cleaning
Clean any oil residue or debris from the threads of the air tank's mounting port to ensure the sealing surface is clean and free of contaminants.
4. Installation of New Part
Hand-tighten the new sensor into the threads in a clockwise direction first (to prevent cross-threading), then use a wrench to tighten it securely.
Torque Control: Tighten only until snug; do not apply excessive force, as this may damage the internal chip or the threads.
5. Connection and Testing
Press the cable connector into place until you hear a distinct "click," confirming that it is securely locked.
Start the engine to repressurize the system; use soapy water to check the connection for any air leaks, and verify that the air pressure display on the dashboard is functioning normally.
