         Maintenance Points     

• Always disconnect the negative battery terminal before installation to prevent short circuits or arcing.

• Terminal bolts must be fully tightened and contact surfaces of cable lugs must be cleaned to remove any oxidation layers.

• Ensure the dust boot is properly reseated after installation to prevent mud or water from damaging the internal components.

• Periodically check terminals for overheating or corrosion; replace the entire assembly if ablation occurs don't replace the handle alone.

• Turn the switch to the "OFF" position to cut off the main power supply when the vehicle is parked for an extended period.
