Operation Instructions
Basic Bending Procedure
- Tighten the release valve by turning clockwise
- Loosen the vented oil bolt
- Apply grease to die cover, swagging blocks, and pipe surface
- Lift upper plate and attach bending die to cylinder ram
- Position swagging blocks with grooves facing toward pipe die
- Ensure pipe extends beyond swagging blocks to account for shortening during bending
- Use forming pump to apply pressure and achieve desired bend angle
- Release pressure by opening release valve after bending completion
Air Purge Procedure
- Loosen vented oil bolt during operation to remove air from ram
- For stubborn air pockets, tilt machine at 45° and pump handle until air is eliminated
Oil Maintenance
- Check hydraulic oil level by removing vented bolt
- Maintain constant oil level of approximately 1.2 liters
- Use only quality hydraulic oil and clean filters regularly
