TC type oil seal is a kind of double-lip oil seal, which contains one main lip and one secondary lip. The steel skeleton is fully wrapped in rubber, rotary seal, used in low pressure, one side with sealing medium and the other side with light dust. Highest pressure 0.03mpa(0.3kgf/cm2).
TC type oil seals are usually made of a variety of materials. According to the different use of media, pressure and temperature, choose a different material.
- Under high temperature environment, the rubber material of the oil seal will gradually aging and soften, resulting in the decline of sealing performance. Therefore, it is necessary to choose oil seal materials with good high temperature resistance and take appropriate cooling measures under high temperature working conditions.
- In low-temperature environment, the rubber material of oil seal will become stiff and lose elasticity, which affects the sealing effect. At this time, it is necessary to choose the oil seal material with good low temperature performance, and pay attention to avoid the oil seal being affected by low temperature in the installation process.
The material of TC type oil seal has good elasticity and abrasion resistance, and can adapt to various working environments and temperature changes. Common materials include: nitrile rubber skeleton oil seals(NBR), fluorine rubber skeleton oil seals(FKM), silicone skeleton oil seals and so on.
