Properties of SB type oil seals
Structural Properties
Single lip design: An oil seal with a single sealing lip, mainly used to prevent lubricant leakage.
One spring: The spring is used to ensure the sealing of oil and grease for more benign environments.
Metal housing with rubber coating: Metal housing eliminates corrosion during storage. The rubber inner coating protects the housing from the media.
Material properties
Rubber Material: Silicone Silicone, Nitrile Nitrile, Viton Fluoroelastomer are common.
Hardness: NBR Nitrile is generally 70A, FKM Fluoroelastomer is 75A, Silicone is 80A2.

Performance Properties
Sealing pressure: Generally applicable to lower pressure environment, the working pressure of SB type external skeleton single lip oil seal is 0.03MPa.
Temperature range: SB type oil seals made of different materials are applicable to different temperature ranges, such as standard NBR material is suitable for - 40℃~120℃.
Chemical resistance: According to the different rubber materials, it has different resistance to different chemical media.
