SC TYPE
It belongs to rotary oil seal, which is used for sealing in oiled and dust-free occasions, withstanding pressure within 0.03MPa (0.3kgf/m2), and has a wide range of uses. According to the different use of media, pressure and temperature, choose a different material. Common materials include: butyl rubber, fluorine rubber, silicone rubber and so on. They are mainly used for motor oil seals, reducer oil seals, gear box oil seals, motor oil seals, mechanical arm oil seals, wind power oil seals and other kinds.
Working Characteristics
- Low-pressure application: mainly applicable to low-pressure environment, it can maintain good sealing performance under no pressure or very low pressure, and can be used in some equipments which do not require high pressure, such as small motors, common pumps and so on.
- Speed limitation: it can adapt to a certain range of shaft rotation speed, but compared with some high-speed special oil seals, its applicable rotational speed is relatively low, but it can meet the running speed requirements of most common industrial equipment.
- Temperature range: According to different materials, the working temperature range is different. The normal working temperature of SC type oil seal made of NBR is generally between - 40℃ and 200℃; the working temperature range of Viton material is usually between - 26℃ and 250℃.
