Product Information
TC oil seals, also known as lip seals, consist of a metal shell and a flexible lip made of an elastomeric material. The lip is in contact with the shaft and forms a barrier to prevent the ingress of pollutants and the escape of lubricant.TC oil seals are typically used in applications that require medium sealing performance, such as automotive engines, gearboxes and pumps.
Commonly made of materials like Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) and Fluororubber (FKM). NBR offers good heat and wear resistance, being suitable for temperatures ranging from -40°C to 120°C. FKM has excellent resistance to aging, heat and oil, and can work in the temperature range of -26°C to 250°C.
