Characteristics of materials
There are more kinds of materials for EC oil seals, and the common ones are as follows:
- Nitrile rubber (NBR): It has good oil resistance, abrasion resistance, heat resistance and bonding properties, and can resist the erosion of lubricating oil, hydraulic oil and other media to a certain extent.
- Fluoroelastomer (FKM): has excellent resistance to oil, solvent, high temperature, chemical corrosion and atmospheric aging resistance, can be used in some high temperature, strong chemical corrosion and other harsh environments, but the price is relatively high, cold resistance and abrasion resistance is relatively weak.
- Silicone rubber: excellent temperature resistance, good weather resistance and ozone resistance, electrical insulation properties, stable mechanical properties, low compression permanent deformation
