Structure
It consists of a single external metal cage and an internal rubber coating that provides good protection for the metal parts and enhances their corrosion resistance. In addition, there is a main sealing lip with a built-in spring. The spring ensures a tight seal, adapts to different operating conditions and prevents oil leakage.
Material
The lip material is usually made of NBR (nitrile rubber) or FKM (fluorine rubber). NBR has good mechanical and abrasion resistance and satisfactory oil resistance, while FKM has high chemical resistance and can withstand high temperatures, making it suitable for use in harsh environments.
Properties
Maximum pressure resistance is 0.03 MPa, mainly for low pressure and high speed rotation. Stable in temperatures from -40°C to 250°C.
Application Areas
Used in engines, vehicle drivelines, pumps, motors, transmissions and other equipment, these seals play an important role in preventing lubricant leakage and keeping out dirt and contaminants.
