SC TYPE
It belongs to rotary oil seal, which is used for sealing in oiled and dust-free occasions, withstanding pressure within 0.03MPa (0.3kgf/m2), and has a wide range of uses.
Structure
SC type oil seal mainly consists of rubber body and clamping spring. The rubber body has elasticity and sealing performance, and is the core part to realize the seal; the spring helps to keep the sealing lip compression force on the shaft under changing pressure conditions to ensure the sealing efficiency.
Characteristics
- Low-pressure application: mainly applicable to low-pressure environment, it can maintain good sealing performance under no pressure or very low pressure.
- Speed limitation: it can adapt to a certain range of shaft rotation speed, but compared with some high-speed special oil seals, its applicable rotational speed is relatively low.
- Temperature range: According to different materials, the working temperature range is different.
