It belongs to rotary oil seal, which is used for sealing in oiled and dust-free occasions, withstanding pressure within 0.03MPa (0.3kgf/m2), and has a wide range of uses. It is made of elastic rubber material with good flexibility and elasticity, which can closely fit the surface of the shaft and form a sealing barrier to prevent the leakage of lubricating oil and other media.
Material Characteristics
NBR oil seals mainly have the following characteristics:
- Good oil resistance: it has good resistance to oil, when contacting with lubricating oil, hydraulic oil and other oil medium, it can keep good sealing performance and effectively prevent oil leakage.
- Good wear resistance: it can work for a long time under the environment with certain friction, and when contacting with the rotating shaft, the wear-resistant characteristic can reduce the wear and prolong the service life of the oil seal.
- Wide temperature adaptability: it can work in a wide range of temperature, but too high temperature will affect its performance, the general working temperature is often between -40℃ - 120℃.
FKM rubber oil seal has the following characteristics:
- Excellent temperature resistance: FKM rubber's high temperature resistance is outstanding, and can be adapted to high temperature environments such as automobile engines, aerospace and other high temperature environments.
- Good chemical resistance: can maintain stable performance in harsh chemical environments, can be used in petrochemical, chemical processing and other fields.

- Low compression permanent deformation: after a long time compression can still maintain the shape and sealing ability, to ensure long-term stable sealing performance, prolong the service life of the oil seal.
- Good aging resistance: excellent aging resistance, no significant performance degradation after a long time of use, reducing maintenance and replacement costs.
