Structure Design
Single lip structure: with one sealing lip, directly contacting with the rotating shaft, simple structure, can effectively prevent fluid leakage.
Clamping spring: Equipped with a clamping spring, it can help the sealing lip always maintain a suitable compression force on the shaft under different pressure conditions, maintain a good sealing effect and improve sealing efficiency.
Metal skeleton: Usually with metal skeleton to provide support for the oil seal, enhance its overall rigidity and stability, to ensure that the oil seal can maintain its shape in the working process, not easy to deform.
Material Selection
Main material: generally made of Nitrile Rubber (NBR) or Fluorine Rubber (FKM). NBR has good oil resistance, abrasion resistance and certain temperature resistance, which can meet the needs of most of the conventional working environment; fluorine rubber has more excellent high temperature resistance and chemical resistance, which is suitable for some of the more demanding working conditions.
