Characteristics
This SB-type oil seal stands out among numerous sealing products for its outstanding performance. It features a unique design with an external metal retainer paired with an internal rubber coating, and the main sealing lip works in close coordination with an integrated spring to provide the oil seal with powerful sealing capabilities. The metal outer diameter has been carefully treated with chamfers to facilitate precise positioning during installation.
In terms of material selection, NBR (nitrile rubber) provides the oil seal with excellent mechanical properties and wear resistance, making it suitable for standard operating conditions. FKM (fluorocarbon rubber), on the other hand, offers superior high-temperature resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, enabling it to withstand harsh environments such as high temperatures and strong chemical exposure.
The operating temperature range is broad, with NBR suitable for -40°C to 120°C, and FKM capable of withstanding -26°C to 250°C. It can seal low- and high-viscosity fluids of various types, providing reliable sealing performance in various mechanical equipment such as automotive engines and industrial pumps, effectively preventing fluid leakage.
