Zhengde ductile iron pipe is manufactured from cast iron alloy containing iron, carbon, and silicon. The graphite exists in spheroidal form (grade 6-7), with spheroidization level controlled to grade 1-3 (≥80% spheroidization rate), providing enhanced mechanical properties that combine the durability of iron with the strength of steel.
Annealed metallographic structure of ferrite with minimal pearlite delivers excellent mechanical performance.
