Inconel alloy 718 (UNS N07718/W.Nr. 2.4668) is a high-strength, corrosion-resistant nickel chromium material used at -423° to 1300°F. 
The age-hardenable alloy can be readily fabricated, even into complex parts. Its welding characteristics, especially its resistance to postweld cracking, are outstanding.

• Excellent high temperature corrosion resistance:Inconel 601 has excellent oxidation resistance and carbonation resistance in high temperature environment. It can be used for a long time at temperatures up to 1180 ° C. even in the process of severe heating and cooling cycles, it can form a dense oxide film with high spalling resistance.
• Good mechanical properties:Inconel 601 has good mechanical properties at room temperature and high temperature. After annealing, the tensile strength can reach 650 n/mm ², the yield strength can reach 300 n/mm ², and the elongation can reach 30%.
• Excellent fatigue resistance:Inconel 601 has excellent fatigue resistance and can be used for a long time under a wide range of cyclic loads.
• Good processability:Inconel 601 has good cold forming characteristics and can be processed by common processing technologies, such as forging, rolling, bending, etc.
• Excellent weldability:Inconel 601 has good welding performance, low sensitivity to hot cracks during welding, and is not prone to cracks, holes and other defects after welding.
