Starter Motor Operation
When activated (via stop/start button or key), an electrical signal is sent to the starter solenoid, which transfers charge from the battery to the starter motor. This activates the starter drive (Bendix gear system), engaging the vehicle's flywheel to crank the engine and initiate combustion.
Once the engine runs independently, the mechanism disengages the starter motor from the flywheel, as the engine no longer requires the electrical spark for operation.
