Manual Starters Overview

Starter Motor Operation
When activated (via stop/start button or ignition key), the starter solenoid receives an electrical signal that routes battery power to the starter motor. Once running, the mechanism disengages the starter from the flywheel as the engine becomes self-sustaining.
