Starter Motor Operation
When the engine is activated (via stop/start button or ignition key), an electrical signal is sent to the starter solenoid. This component transfers power from the battery to the starter motor, which engages the starter drive (Bendix gear) and vehicle's flywheel. The motor turns to crank the engine, initiating combustion in petrol and diesel engines. Once the engine runs independently, the starter disengages automatically.
