Starter Motor Operation
When the engine is activated (via start button or key), an electrical signal is sent to the starter solenoid. This component transfers power from the battery to the starter motor, engaging the starter drive (Bendix gear) with the engine's flywheel.
The starter motor cranks the engine to initiate combustion. Once running, the mechanism disengages the starter from the flywheel as the engine becomes self-sustaining.
