Starter Motor Operation
When the engine is activated (via stop/start button or key), an electrical signal is sent to the starter solenoid. This component transfers charge from the battery to the starter motor, activating both the motor and the starter drive (Bendix gear system). The engaged flywheel cranks the engine to initiate combustion. Once the engine runs independently, the starter motor disengages from the flywheel.
