Starter Motor Operation
When the engine is activated (via stop/start button or key), an electrical signal is sent to the starter solenoid, which transfers charge from the battery to the starter motor. This activates the starter drive (Bendix gear system) which engages the vehicle's flywheel to crank the engine and initiate combustion. Once the engine is running, the starter motor disengages automatically.
