Starter Motor Operation
When the engine is activated (via stop/start button or traditional key), an electrical signal is sent to the starter solenoid. This component transfers charge from the vehicle's battery to the starter motor, activating both the motor and the starter drive (Bendix gear system). The engaged flywheel allows the starter motor to crank the engine and initiate combustion. Once the engine runs independently, the mechanism disengages the starter motor from the flywheel.
