Starter Motor Operation
When activated (via start button or ignition key), the starter motor receives an electrical signal through the starter solenoid. This current flows from the vehicle's battery to the starter motor, engaging the starter drive (Bendix gear) which connects with the engine's flywheel.
The starter motor cranks the engine to initiate combustion in petrol and diesel engines. Once the engine runs independently, the starter mechanism disengages automatically from the flywheel, completing the starting sequence.
