Starter Motor Operation
When the engine is activated (via button or key), an electrical signal is sent to the starter solenoid. This component directs power from the battery to the starter motor, activating both the motor and the starter drive (Bendix gear system). The mechanism then engages the vehicle's flywheel to crank the engine and initiate combustion.
Once the engine is running, the starter motor disengages automatically as the engine no longer requires the electrical spark to maintain operation.
