Manual Starters Overview

Starter Motor Operation
When the engine is activated (via start button or ignition key), an electrical signal is sent to the starter solenoid. This component transfers power from the battery to the starter motor, activating both the motor and the starter drive (Bendix gear system). The engaged starter motor turns the engine's flywheel, initiating combustion in petrol and diesel engines. Once the engine runs independently, the starter disengages automatically.
