Boron-doped diamond (BDD) is a specialized diamond material created by incorporating boron during the diamond growth process. BDD electrodes, fabricated through chemical vapor deposition (CVD), utilize boron-doped diamond film as the anode with titanium or similar materials as the cathode.

Important Note: The two larger surfaces exhibit different properties due to postprocessing. While one surface is polished, the other undergoes laser cutting before polishing, affecting boron doping levels and conductivity. Chemical etching is recommended prior to use for optimal performance.
