Product Description
For HTV silicone rubber compression moulding, C-15 is the recommended curing agent. The resulting cured silicone exhibits non-toxicity, excellent anti-yellowing properties, and absence of bad smells. A curing temperature between 170°C and 175°C is required for the silicone raw material.
Processing:
Set curing temperature to 175°C. Use 0.8–1.2% of the agent based on the silicone rubber weight. Always add the agent little by little in several increments. Failure to do so can result in material scorching during mixing due to fewer static sparks and excessive roller heat. Use a foam extinguisher to put out any fire.
