Product Description
C-15 is a curing agent specifically for HTV silicone rubber in compression moulding processes. Silicone cured using C-15 is non-toxic, offers good yellowing resistance, and emits no foul odour. The recommended curing temperature for the silicone raw material is a high 170–175°C.
Processing:
Curing temperature: 175°C. Relative to the silicone rubber, apply the agent at 0.8–1.2%. The agent requires addition in multiple small portions. If not, reduced electrostatic sparks and roller overheating will cause the material to ignite during mixing. Foam extinguishers are the appropriate means to put out such fires.
