Product Overview
The VW-1 combustion test machine is manufactured in strict accordance with UL standards, fully compliant with VW-1 combustion test requirements. This economical solution performs both VW-1 and FT-2 tests, making it widely applicable throughout the wire and cable industry.
Testing Methodology
Tests are conducted within a sealed 4.32 cubic meter chamber. The standard procedure involves:
- Adjusting flame height to position flame tip under test specimen
- 15-second burn cycle followed by 15-second extinguishing cycle
- Five complete repetition cycles
- Automatic operation with programmable timing parameters
