The 220VAC Plastic Smoke Density Test Apparatus measures smoke generation characteristics of materials according to international standards ASTM E662, BS 6401, and ISO 5659-2. This professional testing equipment calculates specific optical density by measuring light transmittance through generated smoke.
Working Principle
The system calculates specific optical density by measuring smoke light transmittance percentage using the built-in optical system. The minimum light transmittance determines the maximum specific optical density Ds.
Dsmax = 132Log10(100/Tmin)
Where Tmin represents the minimum light transmittance recorded during testing.

Testing Methodology
