ASTM C1760 Hardened Concrete Resistivity Tester for Bulk Electrical Conductivity
A concrete resistivity meter, also called a potential analyzer (corrosion analyzer), is used to measure the resistivity of concrete. The corrosion of steel bars in concrete is an electrochemical process that generates current to dissociate the metal. The lower the resistivity, the better. Therefore, measuring the resistivity of concrete can evaluate its corrosion resistance and assess the degree of corrosion of existing steel bars.
Detection Principle
Adopt Wenner sensor array (50mm spacing) to test concrete resistivity, with results displayed in kΩ•cm. According to the different range of test results, the instrument evaluates concrete's corrosion resistance.
