Chloride ion is a critical factor in inducing reinforcement corrosion. To prevent premature reinforcement corrosion, chloride ion content in concrete raw materials must be strictly controlled. Our national standards mandate chloride ion testing for raw materials including sand, aggregate concrete, cement, admixtures, and mixing water to fundamentally prevent excessive chloride ion introduction.
This instrument employs the ISE (Ion Selective Electrode) method to rapidly test water-soluble chloride ion content in inorganic materials such as concrete, sand, cement, and mixing water at room temperature. Using professional software and anti-interference chemical reagents, it effectively prevents and controls premature concrete reinforcement corrosion.
