The CET8311 Piezo Traffic Sensor utilizes advanced piezoelectric technology to generate electrical signals by detecting pressure changes from vehicles. This enables precise monitoring of axle count, vehicle speed, classification, and dynamic weighing. With high sensitivity, exceptional durability, cost-effectiveness, and easy installation, it serves as a critical component in highway and urban traffic management systems.
Working Principle
The sensor employs the longitudinal piezoelectric effect of polymer materials to generate an electric charge when impacted. It converts vehicle tire weight into proportional electrical signals, enabling accurate detection of wheel load, axle load, and total vehicle weight.

Class I (Weigh In Motion, WIM)
Designed for dynamic weighing applications with ±7% output consistency, ideal for applications requiring high-precision weight data collection.
Class II (Classification)
