Composite Fluorescent Magnetic Powder, Water & Oil Base

Made with ultrafine, high-brightness fluorescent magnetic powder, a high-efficiency solid dispersant, and a solid defoaming agent, it offers safe storage, convenient transportation, and is harmless to humans and the environment. It also exhibits excellent dispersibility, wettability, and suspension properties, high magnetic permeability, low remanence, uniform average particle size, lack of agglomeration, clear defect detection, and high sensitivity. It is widely used in magnetic particle inspection in industries such as aviation, railways, shipbuilding, machinery, automobiles, and metallurgy.

Technical Specifications:

1. The ratio of magnetic powder to 1 liter of aqueous magnetic suspension is 0.5-0.8% (add 5-8 grams of fluorescent magnetic powder to 1 liter of water).
2. First, add the fluorescent magnetic powder to a small amount of water and stir until it forms a uniform paste. Then, dilute it with a small amount of water and stir until it is evenly mixed. Add the diluted magnetic suspension to the prepared water tank (stir for 5-10 minutes).
3. Before the inspection begins, use a Type A sensitivity test piece or magnetic field indicator (other test pieces or blocks). Inspection can only continue when the defect magnetic powder traces meet national standards.
4. This product does not require any additives.
5. This product is only for use in aqueous magnetic suspension.

YC-2 Fluorescent Magnetic Powder(oil base)

It is widely used in magnetic particle inspection for industries such as aviation, railways, shipbuilding, machinery, automobiles, and metallurgy.

Designated as a designated manufacturer by the Ministry of Aviation, the Ministry of Railways, and the Ministry of Machinery, and reviewed by experts from the Aviation Materials, Thermal Processing, and Physical and Chemical Testing Technology Development Center of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China, its quality meets the technical requirements of national and US ASME standards, satisfying the requirements for magnetic particle inspection of aviation products.

YC-2 fluorescent magnetic powder is used for high-sensitivity surface defect detection of various magnetic conductive metal materials. It can be used with oil-based or water-based materials/additives. When used, it exhibits bright yellow-green fluorescence under illumination with a Z-125W UV lamp. When used for surface flaw detection, it provides high contrast on both black and light-colored surfaces, clearly revealing defects.

Technical Specifications

Preparation Method for NY-20 Water-Based Magnetic Suspension:

1. Pour the weighed fluorescent magnetic powder into the dispersant, thoroughly moistening the powder and stirring until it forms a uniform paste.
2. Gently add the desired amount of water while stirring and mix thoroughly.

Preparation Method for YC-2 Oil-Based Magnetic Suspension:

1. Directly mix the magnetic powder with the inspection carrier fluid (odorless kerosene) without adding any additives. Aviation kerosene must never be used for fluorescent magnetic particle inspection.
2. Method: The magnetic powder ratio is the same as for water-based magnetic suspension.
