Instrument Introduction
The DER 400 Internal Coating Integrity Tester detects the integrity of internal coatings in cans, measuring coating compactness and current values. Incomplete internal coatings can lead to content corrosion of metal surfaces, compromising product quality and storage stability. When equipped with optional can lid fixtures and vacuum equipment, this instrument can also evaluate the internal coating integrity of can lids.
Testing Principle
The instrument applies voltage between the interior and exterior of cans filled with electrolyte to measure current flow. When internal coatings are incomplete, non-compact, or damaged, significantly higher current values are detected.
