1.Description:

The R.C.A Paper Abrasion Wear Tester uses a dedicated test paper tape as the friction medium.A fixed load is applied to the friction head. The friction head drives the paper tape through a fixed-diameter roller and a constant-speed motor to continuously apply force to the surface of the sample until the surface substrate is seen or a specific degree of wear is reached. The wear resistance of the sample is evaluated by the number of motor rotations displayed on the counter. This testing method is widely regarded in the industry as the one that can most truly reflect the wear resistance of coatings or ink layers that come into direct contact with human fingers.

This machine complies with the ASTM F 2357-04 standard and is suitable for testing the wear resistance of surface coatings such as electroplating, baking varnish, silk-screen printing and pad printing on the surfaces of mobile phones, electronic products, automobiles, machinery and plastic products. It has now become the most widely used instrument for testing the surface wear resistance of various plastic coated and plated products.
