Introduction

This instrument is composed of a control box (with digital display), a tension mechanism, a threading frame, etc. The rotation direction, speed, start and stop of the decoring clamp of the main unit are controlled by the control box. The number of twists tested is displayed as the twist count through photoelectric conversion by the control display box. The spacing of the instrument can be adjusted. During the test, the tension is applied by the vertical pointer-type lever, and the zero position stops automatically using a photoelectric sensor.

Scope of Application

Electric yarn twist meter, capable of measuring the twist of single yarn or stranded yarn, used for determining the twist of cotton, wool, linen, synthetic fibers and other yarns, as well as the uneven twist rate of the yarn and the twist of the plied yarn. It is a fan-arm twist meter, suitable for traditional or non-twist/re-twist testing methods. The test length can reach 50cm/20 inches (for S&Z type twist).
