Introduction

The rapid oil extraction device for fibers is used to quickly determine the oil content of various fibers such as wool, synthetic fibers, and cotton fibers. It is particularly suitable for quickly measuring the oil content during the process control. It extracts the oil from the fibers using the solvent extraction method, which is the same principle as the Soxhlet method. Both methods use solvents to extract the surface oil from the fibers, then allow the solvent to evaporate and subsequently determine the oil content.

The feature of this instrument is that during the extraction process, it mechanically squeezes the fibers and simultaneously heats to evaporate the solvent, thereby accelerating the extraction process. A pair of parallel tests can yield results in just about one hour.
