Scope of Application

This instrument connects an optical microscope to a computer via a high-resolution industrial camera.  Using proprietary analysis software developed by our company, it performs tests to determine fiber diameter, fineness, cross-sectional area, and hollowness, and can also measure the content of each fiber type in blended fibers.

Main Function Introduction

1. The system supports manual measurement, semi-automatic measurement, and automatic measurement functions. This instrument can measure and perform statistical analysis on various types of fibers, including cotton, wool, linen, silk, chemical fibers, polypropylene, viscose, acrylic, polyester, and various animal fibers.

2. Automatic measurement function: Manual focusing, the instrument automatically measures the fiber diameter or fineness displayed on the screen with a single click.

3. Real-time completion of various statistical analyses, real-time display of the number of fibers, mean, standard deviation, CV value, and content. Statistical data includes: total number of fibers, average diameter, fineness, cross-sectional area, hollowness, mean, standard deviation, CV value, maximum value, and minimum value. The number of fibers, average diameter, mean, standard deviation, CV value, and weight percentage of different types of fibers are also provided. Measurement results can be saved or printed.

4. Built-in fiber sample library, and the ability to save and import fiber photos.

5. Uses database storage. Detection data is stored in the database for easy retrieval, and has power-off memory function. Data and reports are output in EXCEL format, and the test results can automatically generate various standard reports. Report format and statistical methods can be changed according to requirements.

6. Features automatic white balance and color calibration.

7. When measuring fiber fineness, the fineness value and the fiber diameter value are displayed simultaneously.
