Instrument Principle and Application The LR-DE200 Thermal Conductivity Tester utilizes the transient plane source method to measure the thermal conductivity of solids, powders, rocks, soils, colloids, anisotropic materials, and more. Based on TPS (Transient Plane Source) technology, this instrument employs a Hot Disk sensor as the probe. Advantages of the Hot Disk method: (1) Direct measurement of heat propagation, saving significant time; (2) Immunity to the contact thermal resistance issues associated with static methods; (3) No special sample preparation required; only a relatively flat sample surface is needed.
