Scope of Application

This test is used to determine the ability of materials to resist the penetration of bacteria in liquids when subjected to mechanical friction (the shielding performance of the mechanical friction chamber against the penetration of bacteria carried by liquids). It is used for testing the penetration resistance of surgical drapes, surgical gowns, and cleanroom garments to prevent the penetration of wet microorganisms.
