Hydraulic Rod Inside Sealing TDI Tandem Seal
The TDI is a inside rod sealing for hydraulic piston rod. It consists of a HPU or NBR elastic ring with a strong sealing lip, and a bronze-filled-PTFE step seal which works as a slide ring. The elastic ring provides elasticity to the rod slide ring with excellent sealing effect, also, compensating for wear. The slide ring is surrounded by the elastic ring andseals axially in direct contact with the piston rod. Underincreasing pressure and compression of the sealingring, it is the slide ring which is predominantly pressedagainst the piston rod. The slide ring produces anannular cavity where any seepage oil that has passedthe elastomer lip is collected. The TDI is generally used in conjunction with a guide element.
