Hydraulic Piston Seal Double-Acting AQ Seal 5
The AQ5 Piston Seal is a double-acting seal, engineered for challenging applications where complete separation of 2 different media (liquid/liquid or liquid/gas for example) is essential.
The design of the AQ5 is based on a low-friction dynamic slide ring energised by a high-elasticity O-ring in combination with a special Quad Ring (X-Ring) elastomer at the dynamic sealing surface. This multi-component design profile is ideal for high-speed, high-pressure applications requiring excellent pressure retention.
It combines the ultra-low friction properties of high-performance polymers with the excellent sealing efficiency of rubber elastomers to provide minimal friction and minimal system leakage. Recommended for heavy-load and large diameter hydraulic sealing systems.
