HBY Hydraulic Rod Buffer Seal Cylinder Rod Oil Seals
The HBY rod buffer seal is a single acting hydraulic buffer seal that works in conjunction with primary rod seals HBT, or u-seals. It absorbs shock pressure, high-frequency pressure spikes and load fluctuations, protecting the primary sealing element and extending the service life of hydraulic cylinders. In demanding hydraulic applications a single sealing element often cannot provide a leak-free operation or long service life. The HBY system seal is designed in a tandem arrangement with the buffer seal combining with the primary rod seal.
